16 Junior Golfers Advance on the Road to Augusta at Drive, Chip, and Putt Sub Regional

LOUISVILLE, KY – The next stop on the road to Augusta for the Drive, Chip, and Putt national tournament was held this Sunday at Oxmoor Country Club. The Sub-Regional, the second stage of three in the DCP qualifying process, hosted each player that had advanced from the many Local Qualifiers held throughout the state earlier this summer.

Out of 115 participants, only sixteen young golfers are now advancing to the DCP Regional Qualifier which will be held on Sunday, September 15 at the infamous Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, KY. A collection of players from Kentucky, Ohio, Indiana, and Michigan will be present for that event, battling it out for their spot at the 2025 National Finals at Augusta National Golf Club.

The following players will be moving on to the next round after finishing in the top two of their respective divisions on Sunday:

Kentucky Junior Golf extends its thanks to Andrew Lardner, Head Golf Professional, and the entire staff at Oxmoor Country Club for their assistance in staging the Sub-Regional. Additionally, appreciation is sent towards each player, family member and friend who attended this event and all DCP qualifiers in Kentucky during the summer.

This winter, the locations and dates for the 2025-26 Drive, Chip & Putt season will be distributed with registration set to open early in 2025. For now, players and parents can continue the positive momentum of Drive, Chip & Putt, and other programs lodged within the Kentucky Golf Foundation by bidding in the Online Auction which closes for bidding next Monday, August 15.
