Final Round of the PGA Jr. League at Owl Creek Country Club

ANCHORAGE, KY (July 29, 2025) — The final round of the PGA Jr. League Section Championship at Owl Creek Country Club concluded on Tuesday, July 29th. The round ran smoothly and stayed on pace, with ideal playing conditions throughout the day. Only the first-place team in each division will advance to the Regional Championship, being held from September 19-21 at Belmont Hills Country Club in St. Clairsville, OH. For the 17u Division, Summit Hills took home the win with an impressive -2 par today. For the 13u Division, West KY All Stars came out on top after shooting +1 and winning their tiebreaker scorecard playoff. These two teams are officially named our Section Champions for their respective divisions!

17U Division
Summit Hills claimed victory in the 17U Division with an impressive two-under-par performance. Evan Himmelsbach, Camdon Sharp, Hugh Wright, and Owen Havens each carded a one-under score to help secure the win. A key highlight included birdies on hole seven from both pairs. The River City 17U All-Stars finished in second place at three-over-par, led by Brady Purvis and Noah Thompson, who posted a one-under round with birdies on holes four and five.

13U Division
In the 13U Division, the West KY All-Stars emerged victorious after posting a one-over-par round and winning a scorecard playoff tiebreaker. Peyton Courtney and William Burden contributed significantly with a combined one-under effort. A highlight of their round was a birdie on hole eight.
