This year’s U.S. Open will be held at Oakmont Country Club in Oakmont, Pennsylvania, from June 12–15. The historic club has also been named a future host for the U.S. Open in 2033, 2042, and 2049.
The journey to Oakmont begins with local qualifying, conducted over 18-holes at 110 sites across 43 U.S. states, as well as Canada and Mexico, from April 16 through May 19. Players who advance will compete in 36-hole final stage qualifying events held in the U.S., England, Japan, and Canada.
A record-setting 10,202 entries were accepted for the 125th U.S. Open Championship, only the fourth time in tournament history that the total has exceeded 10,000. Entrants came from all 50 states, including 372 from host state Pennsylvania, along with submissions from Puerto Rico, the District of Columbia, and 80 foreign countries.
