It was a picture-perfect day for golf at Oxmoor Country Club, where many of Kentucky’s top amateur teams gathered to compete in the 17th Kentucky Men’s Four-Ball Championship. When the final putt dropped, it was the duo of Clay Pendergrass and Ben Kendrick who stood atop the leaderboard, capturing the title in dominant fashion with a stellar two-round total of 122 (-22), securing a two-shot victory and earning their place in the Kentucky Golf Association record books.

Pendergrass and Kendrick set the tone early with a blazing 59 (-13) in the opening round, featuring 16 birdies and an eagle from Pendergrass on the par-5 10th. They kept their foot on the gas in round two, carding a bogey-free 63 (-9) that included seven birdies and an eagle from Kendrick on the par-4 1st. The team's consistency proved too much for the field.

Finishing just two shots back in solo second place was the team of Joshua Rhodes and Rocco Zakutney, who delivered a spectacular final-round 59 (-13) of their own to finish at 124 (-20). Rhodes contributed an eagle on the par-5 5th in round one, while Zakutney matched the feat with his own eagle on the same hole during round two.

Rounding out the podium were Rob Crockett and Jonathon Ice, who turned in back-to-back rounds of 63 (-9) for a rock-solid total of 126 (-18), securing third place with consistent and impressive play throughout the tournament.
