Brown and Wood Keep a Perfect Record

Louisville, KY (May 22, 2017) – The Kentucky Golf Association visited Audubon Country Club for the second event of the KGA Am Series.  While it was perfect weather for scoring, the par 72 course showed its teeth to the field of 144 players. In the Legends Division, Don Wood of Louisville continued his masterful play by shooting a 1-over par 73.  Wood’s net 69 was also good enough to claim the net scoring title for the event.  Joe Cantrell of Louisville was runner-up to Wood in both the gross and net scoring.

Elmo Greer of London turned in one of the day’s best performances with a 2-over par 74 to win the Masters Division.  Greer’s impressive round netted into a 9-under par 63 for victory also in the net scoring.  Runner-up to Greer in the gross scoring was Mike Price of Morehead and in the net Danny Ashlock of Fern Creek.
