GHK Now Accepting Applications for 2023 Internships

Golf House Kentucky and its respective organizations are now accepting applications for its 2023 internship positions. These positions are funded by the USGA's P.J. Boatwright program and are designed to positively welcome men and women interested in careers surrounding golf administration. Golf House Kentucky offers a safe, inclusive, fun, team-friendly atmosphere that has previously welcomed dozens upon dozens of interns in the past - many of whom now work in the golf industry on a full-time basis.

During the summer of 2023, four candidates will be chosen to fill three different opportunities. One person will report directly to the Director, Amateur Competitions and focus primarily on working amateur tournaments hosted by the Kentucky Golf Association. Similarly, an intern will work with the Director, Professional Competitions and be present at the Kentucky PGA's tournaments. There will also be two interns who work with the Director, Junior Programs and concentrate primarily on the Kentucky PGA Junior Tour and other Kentucky Junior Golf events.

Each of these interns will be expected to assist with tournament operations duties such as course marking, selecting hole locations, setting up equipment, starting, and scoring. Additionally, each of the interns will work with the Director, Communications & Marketing and tackle media duties such as photography, videography, social media, and news releases.
