Preview: 46th Clark's Pump-N-Shop Kentucky Women's Senior Amateur Championship

NEW CASTLE, KY (September 5, 2025) – The 46th Clark’s Pump-N-Shop Kentucky Women’s Senior Amateur Championship is set to tee off at Henry County Country Club, bringing together some of the Commonwealth’s most accomplished senior women golfers. Competitors will take on 36 holes of stroke play across two days, each hoping to etch their name into one of Kentucky’s most prestigious championships. This year’s field will be divided into five different divisions, with both gross and net competitions contested in each, ensuring opportunities for every player to be in the mix.

All attention will be on Susan Stewart, the Kentucky Golf Hall of Famer, who has firmly established herself as the player to beat in the Women’s Senior Amateur. Stewart enters this year’s championship as the four-time defending champion, with her latest title in 2024 highlighted by a clutch finish—birdie on 17 and eagle on 18—to close out a four-under 68 and win by three shots. Her streak of dominance has set the bar high, and the question now is whether she can extend her run and add yet another chapter to her remarkable legacy.

While Stewart headlines the field, she won’t be without competition. She will be grouped with Delia Kahle, Laurie Goodlett, and past champion Cindy Summers in a feature pairing that blends experience, consistency, and proven success. With Henry County’s layout rewarding precision and steady play, maintaining focus over 36 holes will be critical for anyone hoping to contend down the stretch.

Full championship coverage will be available at kygolf.org and across our social media channels on Facebook and Instagram. Be sure to like and follow for behind-the-scenes footage, leaderboard updates, and on-site highlights throughout the week.
