Preview: 26th Kentucky Senior Open to be Held at Park Mammoth Golf Club

PARK CITY, KY (August 28, 2025) – The 26th Kentucky Senior Open is set to tee off Wednesday morning at Park Mammoth Golf Club, marking the first time the championship has been contested at the Park City venue.
This year’s championship will feature 36 holes of individual stroke play with tee times beginning at 7:30 a.m. CT off both the 1st and 10th tees. The field is composed of 93 highly talented professionals and amateurs from Kentucky, Oklahoma, Ohio, Ontario, Tennessee, Arizona, and Nevada, each aiming to etch their name into the record books of one of the Commonwealth’s most storied senior events.
Adding to the stakes, the Overall Champion will secure an exemption into Final Stage Qualifying for the 2026 U.S. Senior Open, providing a direct path toward competing at the national level.
With a new championship setting in Park Mammoth’s short, yet challenging par-70 layout. Precision off the tee and accurate approaches into undulating greens will be keys to low scores.
This event has many accomplished players, such as Bill Breen, Rick Harp, Tim Reeves, PGA, and Mike Lafavers, who headline a list of seasoned competitors with strong records in senior golf across Kentucky and beyond.
Defending champion Davis Boland(a) returns to the field and looks to become the first player in tournament history to go back-to-back, while Randy Jewell, the 2017 co-champion, is back in the field for another run at the title.
Other notable past champions that will be competing in the Super-Senior Division are Steve Cox, PGA, 2019, and Al Chrouser, PGA, 2010.
