Delia Kahle Leads Round One of the 46th Clark's Pump-N-Shop Kentucky Women's Senior Amateur Championship

NEW CASTLE, KY (September 8, 2025) – The 46th Clark’s Pump-N-Shop Kentucky Women’s Senior Amateur Championship teed off Monday at Henry County Country Club. After the opening round, Delia Kahle of Seneca Golf Course holds the lead at even-par 72.

Kahle’s steady play was highlighted by birdies on Nos. 3 and 10, along with a flawless stretch of pars from No. 12 through the finish to secure her spot atop the leaderboard.

One shot back is defending champion Susan Stewart of Audubon Country Club at one-over 73. Stewart, who has won the championship each of the past four years, looks poised to challenge for a fifth consecutive title. Her round featured birdies on Nos. 10, 13, and 15 before she ultimately closed one behind Kahle.

Carolyn Paul of Juniper Hill Ladies sits in solo third with a 78, while her clubmate Laurie Goodlett shares fourth place at 79 alongside Robin Brockman of The Woodford Club. Teela Watts of The Woodford Club follows in sixth with an 81.

Four players round out the top 10 in a tie for seventh at 82: 2018 Champion Cindy Summers of Indian Hills Country Club, Natalie Britton of Juniper Hill Ladies, Melba Kindervater of Elizabethtown Country Club, and Stacy Harvey of EClub Kentucky Central.

The championship will conclude on Tuesday with the final 18 holes, as Kahle looks to capture her first title while Stewart pushes for her fifth straight victory.
