Day One: 31st Clark's Pump-N-Shop Kentucky Men's Mid-Amateur Championship

OWENSBORO, KY (August 18th, 2025) - The 31st Clark's Pump-N-Shop Kentucky Men's Mid-Amateur Championship began with a field of 40 players. With the Kentucky summer heat still ablaze, the morning wave offered an impressive round for Andrew Lewis of Utica, KY.
During the morning round, Lewis was the first to tee off #10, setting the pace for the day. Lewis was atop the leaderboard at the end of the morning round, carding an impressive 5-under 67 at his home course of Owensboro Country Club.
Just one stroke behind Lewis was Denver Haddix of Lexington, KY. Haddix finished round one at 4-under 68.
Justin Tereshko of Lexington, KY, and Robbie Keyes of Louisville, KY, were T3 at 3-under 69.
Closely pushing to the top of the leaderboard were Blanton Creque of Shelbyville, KY, and Kevin Waldie of Lewisport, KY, who were T5 in the morning round, sitting at 2-under 70.
Lewis began round two with his 5-under lead. However, Keyes started to push his way through the leaderboard, where he now sits atop the leaderboard at 9-under par.
Following two strokes behind at T2 are Lewis, Tereshko, and Haddix, ending round two at 7-under total.
Joshua Rhodes of Paducah, KY, and the 2011 Clark's Pump-N-Shop Kentucky Men's Mid-Amateur Champion, is keeping his name in contention as he finished round two with a 6-under 66.
Rounding out the top of the leaderboard are Christian Tooley of Roundhill, KY, and Adam Houchens of Alvaton, KY, at 4-under-par.
The final round begins tomorrow, August 19th, at 8:00 AM (Central Time), and the final pairing to tee off at 10:24 AM (Central Time).
