Daniel Iceman And Team Claim The Second Pro-Senior Event Of The Year

CRESTVIEW HILLS, KY (September 18, 2023) – Daniel Iceman, PGA, continued his streak of successes this season with a dominant victory alongside his team at the second Pro-Senior event of this year. Iceman, with teammates J.R. Wiley, Jamie Perry, and Tom Barnes, claimed a 5-shot victory over the field today at Summitt Hills Country Club, shooting a 16-under total of 124.

This competition sees a KPGA Member/Associate compete with three amateurs aged 50 or older. On each hole, one gross score (counted first) and one net score (with 80% of the amateurs’ handicap indexes factored in) were counted to determine the results. Iceman's individual round of 64 consisted of 34 on the front and 30 on the back, with just bogeys on his card all day compared to an impressive eight birdies on the par 70 course. His team added a group of their own birdies, along with three net eagles.

Iceman also won the Low Professional honors of the tournament with his 64. Jesse Massie, PGA,  finished not far behind with a round of 67 that included five birdies. Massie's team finished in solo third at 10-under.

The day also included two closest-to-the-pin competitions. Congratulations to Andrew Stephens, PGA, for sticking it to 6'9" on hole 10 and Mike Cruse for his shot to 5'2" on hole 13!
