Seth Hall Leads Team to Victory in Pro-Lady presented by Mobile Pro Shop

LEXINGTON, KY (July 6, 2021) - A pop-up thunderstorm could not stop this year's edition of the Pro-Lady presented by Mobile Pro Shop. A thirty minute delay was necessary at 12:30 p.m. EDT, but the sun showed itself and play was able to resume unlike last year where the tournament was cut to nine holes. Professionals from all over the state brought three female amateurs with them to form teams of four. The format of the team competition was best two balls (net) from each hole alongside the traditional low professional and low senior professional competitions..

Seth Hall’s crew of Maggie Hoffman, Kim Lincoln, and Rachael McMillen edged the field by one shot to win the title. They shot a team score of 125 (-19). McMillen made birdie on the par-three 2nd hole and tagged on five more net birdies on the front nine alone. Hoffman made seven net birdies and shot 37 on the front nine. Lincoln dropped in four net birdies along with a net eagle on their opening hole. Hall was consistent throughout the day and steadied the ship as leader for his squad. As a team, they played thirteen of the eighteen holes under par. It was a complete team effort to bring this title back to Polo Fields Golf & Country Club.

The team of Matthew McCrady, Madison Grant, Hannah Curreri, and Gracie Parrott took home second place honors after posting a score of 126 (-18).The foursome of Sara Stephens, Jenny Meyer, Becky Wesdorp, and Shelli Bitter rounded out the top three after posting a score of 127 (-17).

Jesse Massie and Nick Johnston were co-medalists in the low professional competition after both posted rounds of 69 (-3). Johnston made five birdies, including three on his last six holes. Massie made four birdies and one eagle on the par-five 12th. Grover Justice, Brad Maynard and Andrew Lardner were next on the leaderboard after firing rounds of 71 (-1).

Bruce Oldendick posted a round of 70 (-2) to take the low senior professional crown. Oldendick started his play on the back nine and got off to a blazing hot start as he birdied three of his first four holes. Steve Cox was next in second place after a steady round of 73 (+1).
