74th Kentucky PGA Professional Championship

LOUISVILLE, KY (August 14, 2025) – The 74th Kentucky PGA Professional Championship will take place at Big Spring Country Club, August 18-19. This championship will be contested over 36 holes of individual stroke play, with players competing for four qualifying spots, along with three alternate positions for the 58th PGA Professional Championship.  Tee times are scheduled to begin at at 8:00 AM off hole #1 both days.

This year's field includes 8 past champions, Daniel Iceman, PGA (2024), Tom Walters, PGA (2023), Jesse Massie, PGA (2022), Andrew Stephens, PGA (2018, 2021), Grover Justice, PGA (2020), Blake Watts, PGA (2010, 2016, 2017, 2019), Keith Ohr, PGA (2013), and John Bachman, PGA (2012, 2014).  The field will battle to earn a spot in the 58th PGA Professional Championship to be held April 26-29, 2026 at Bandon Dunes Golf Resort in Bandon, OR.  Additionally, the champion will earn an exemption into the 107th Kentucky Open to be held July 28-30, 2026 at Indian Hills CC in Bowling Green, KY.

With 2025 being the Kentucky PGA’s Centennial year, we are excited to crown a champion in this special year! We have many players who have been on a hot streak this year so it should provide some great competition over the two days.
