Eldridge and Oldendick Lead Team to Gross and Net Victories at Traditions

Eldridge/Oldendick/Fuldner/Miller sweep 2x2 Pro-Am supported by Sun Mountain and ahead.

HEBRON, KY (August 29, 2022) – There are gross and net competitions that take place within the 2x2 Pro-Am supported by Sun Mountain and ahead, and on Monday from Traditions Golf Club, one triumphant team captured both titles. Host Professional Aaron Eldridge, Bruce Oldendick, PGA, Eric Fuldner, and Andy Miller were victorious in the gross competition by two strokes and winners of the net tournament by one shot.

With the best score from the two Professionals and the best score from the two amateurs on each hole accounting for team scores, it certainly helped that each player had no worse than 74 (+2) with their own ball. A combined fifteen gross birdies were made from the doubly-triumphant squad with Oldendick and Eldridge each going under-par with 68 (-4) and 70 (-2), respectively.

Oldendick’s performance also won him low senior Professional honors with ease. Four birdies made on the last eight holes helped him win by eight strokes over Darren Wittenburg, PGA.

The top individual score from the day, however, came from Tom Walters, PGA with 67 (-5). An impressive seven birdies were carded from the Head Pro at Summit Hills Country Club which earned him his first such victory this season in KPGA tournaments. Andrew Stephens, PGA was his runner-up and finished two shots back of Walters.
