Preview: 2025 KGA Amateur Series Championship

LOUISVILLE, KY (September 10, 2025) – The 2025 KGA Amateur Series season will come to a close on Thursday as the Amateur Series Championship heads to Persimmon Ridge Golf Club. A full field of players will compete in the season championship, wrapping up another year of competitive golf across the Commonwealth.

Tee times are scheduled to begin at 8:30 AM, with groups starting on both No. 1 and No. 10. Persimmon Ridge, an Arthur Hills design consistently ranked among Kentucky’s top courses, will provide a fitting stage for the championship. Its demanding layout requires accuracy off the tee, sharp short-game skills, and careful navigation of risk-reward opportunities.

The championship lineup comprises top performers from previous Amateur Series events, resulting in a strong field of contenders. With season-long bragging rights and the final trophy of the 2025 Am Series on the line, the event promises an exciting conclusion to the schedule.
