Updates to KGA Am Series Championship and KGA Invitational

The Kentucky Golf Association has formed alternative plans in order to contest the KGA Am Series Championship after the tournament was canceled in advance of the originally scheduled competition day at Frankfort Country Club on September 28th. Details are as follows:

  • The Am Series Championship will now be played concurrently with the KGA Invitational on October 19th at Audubon Country Club
  • Only players who registered for the Am Series Championship originally (for September 28th at Frankfort Country Club) will be eligible to compete in that tournament on October 19th
  • Am Series Championship competitors may also compete in the KGA Invitational if they pay the KGA Invitational entry fee of $135
  • The Am Series Championship will be the 4th and final Am Series points event of the season
  • Registration for the KGA Invitational will be open to ANYONE rather than being invitation-only
  • Registration for each tournament is now open and will close on Monday, October 19th.
