Kentucky's Active Posting Season Now in Effect

As of March 1, the active posting season in Kentucky has begun. From this point through November 30, any round of golf posted at a Kentucky facility will influence the player's handicap index calculation. If you are not already possessing a handicap index, you can quickly join the KGA's E-Club by clicking here. If you are traveling out of state this spring, please note that the following states are still out of season and scores posted at a golf course in one of these locations would not influence your handicap until the specified date.

  • Alaska - April 1
  • Colorado - March 15
  • Connecticut - April 1
  • Delaware - April 1
  • Illinois - April 1
  • Iowa - April 1
  • Maine - April 15
  • Massachusetts - April 1
  • Michigan - April 1
  • Minnesota - April 1
  • Montana - April 1
  • Nebraska - March 15
  • New Hampsire - April 1
  • New Jersey - April 1
  • New York - April 1 or April 15 depending on exact location
  • Nevada (North Nevada only) - March 15
  • North Dakota - March 15
  • Ohio - March 15 or April 1 depending on exact location
  • Pennsylvania - April 1
  • Rhode Island - April 1
  • South Dakota - April 1
  • Utah (North Utah only) - March 15
  • Vermont - April 15
  • Wisconsin - April 1
  • Wyoming - April 1

Golf House Kentucky is the umbrella organization for Kentucky’s Family of Golf Organizations: Kentucky Golf Association, Kentucky PGA and Kentucky Golf Foundation. The vision of Kentucky’s golf leaders, Golf House Kentucky was founded in 1978, and is headquartered in a picturesque country setting in Louisville, Kentucky.
