Player Information

***New for 2019: The Kentucky Women's Open is now open to all amateur and professional golfers, regardless of residency

ELIGIBILITY: In addition to a player's agreement to abide by the Kentucky PGA General Tournament Policies, the following criteria is required.

Female Professional Golfers:

- All active PGA Members and Associate Members and any professional golfer, regardless of residency

Female Amateur Golfers:

- Either hold an active USGA Handicap Index from a Kentucky Golf Association Member Club; or

- Non-residents of Kentucky must hold a USGA handicap at a USGA Allied Golf Association (i.e. Greater Cincincatti Golf Assoc., Tennessee Golf Assoc., Indiana Golf Assoc., etc...).


Amateur participants ages 25 years of age or older are also eligible to compete in the Mid-Amateur division of the championship. All contestants competing in the Mid-Amateur Division will play from the championship tees and will be eligible for the overall championship title. The low finisher in the Mid-Amateur Division will receive a recognition prize, but cannot win both the overall championship and the Mid-Amateur Division. 

FORMAT/SCORING:  36 Hole Stroke Play
