KPGA Assistant/Apprentice Division to Conduct Workshops

The KPGA's Assistant/Apprentice Division's educational workshops for 2010 are set. These workshops are open to all KPGA Members and Apprentices, and MSR Credit is available to KPGA Members at each workshop.

Golf Fitness

Monday, March 8th 10 am (EST) - 1 pm at Velocity Sports

Keith Sherman, owner of Velocity Sports will address fitness in golf with topics including; nutrition, stretching and golf workouts. This seminar is not only something that you can take back to your members and students, but something that you can use for your own game. This seminar is going to be interactive one so be ready to workout. Dress attire will be workout clothes. Entry fee of $5 (payable at the door). Limited to 16 Members/Assistants. Turfgrass Management

Monday, March 15th 10 am (EDT) - 1 pm at Golf House Kentucky

Golf Course Superintendents Kirk Dolan of Charlie Vettiner Golf Course and John Ballard of Audubon Country Club will discuss the importance of the relationship between golf professionals and golf course superintendents. They will also review information in the Turfgrass Management manual in PGA-PGM program. Teaching

Monday, March 29th 11 am (EDT) - 2 pm at Man O’ War Golf Learning Center

KPGA Member Brad Bachand will address three important areas a teaching; Junior Golf, Women and Club Fitting. Bring any ideas that you have that might help others in these areas of teaching.
