The 2011 Lubrisyn Kentucky Golf Foundation Pro-Am wrapped up on Monday, September 19 at The Club at Olde Stone in Bowling Green, KY. The team of Jason Fitch, PGA, Andy Roberts, Nick Richard, and Tim Taylor shot a 125 team score to win by 7 strokes.

Vadden/Crockett Cruise to Titleist Team Victory

Post Winning Score of 18 Under Par

PGA Pro Patrick Vadden and his amateur partner Robbie Crockett put some space between themselves and the rest of the field during the first round four ball format of the 2011 Titleist/Footjoy Team Championship with an outstanding 12 under par 60. With a closing round of 66  in the alternate shot portion of the championship, Vadden and Crockett held off the team of Landrum and Kirby to take the victory.

Bachman Edges Sturgeon for Assistant Match Play Title

Sweeps KPGA Assistant "Majors"

The Kentucky Section PGA conducts two championships specifically for the Assistant/Apprentice Division annually. John Bachman, assistant professional at Big Spring Country Club, now holds the crown for both of the those championships; the 2011 KPGA Assistant Championship and the 2011 KPGA Assistant Match Play Championship.

Prudential Kentucky Senior Open Championship

Jeff Howerton Goes Wire-to-Wire To Win

The final round of the 2011 Prudential Kentucky Senior Open wrapped up on Wednesday, September 7 at Frankfort Country Club. Jeff Howerton of Madisonville, KY went wire-to-wire to take the title as the overall champion. He had scores of 70-73 for a 143 tournament total and defeated Tom Scheuerman in a one hole playoff.

Stocker Edges Watts in Match Play Finals

Ohr Tops Williams for Third Place

Chad Stocker wasn't quite sure he had his game ready to win the 2011 Cleveland Golf/Srixon Match Play Championship this morning but as it turned out he was quite ready and with the help of a steady putter defeated a very worthy opponent in Blake Watts. Stocker posted a total of seven birdies in his round and closed out the match on the 17th hole to win 2&1.

LubriSyn Kentucky Golf Foundation Pro-Am Scheduled for September 19

The heavy April rains forced the postponement of several events within the Kentucky Golf Family, including the LubriSyn Kentucky Golf Foundation Pro-Am, which was to have taken place on April 26. The event has been re-scheduled for Monday, September 19 at The Club at Olde Stone, with a 12:30 p.m. (CDT) shotgun start. View More
 

Stephens Tops Field for Kentucky Senior PGA Championship Victory

Five KPGA Seniors Qualify for National Championship

Pat Stephens added another sub-par score in the final round of the 2011 Kentucky Senior PGA Championship presented by Southworth Development and Mercedes-Benz to capture the title by four strokes. His four under par 140 bested the field of KPGA senior professionals and also provides a qualifying spot for the 2011 Southworth Senior PGA National Championship presented by Mercedes-Benz in October.

Brown Cullen, Jr. and Ted Schulz to Receive Honors

The Kentucky Golf Association and the Kentucky PGA Section are pleased to announce that Brown Cullen, Jr. and Ted Schulz have been elected to the Kentucky Golf Hall of Fame.
