The World Golf Foundation, with support from the Kentucky Golf Association and Kentucky PGA Section, recently completed a study of the impact of golf on Kentucky's economy. The study, officially titled The Kentucky Golf Economy, noted that golf brings visitors to the state, drives residential development, generates retail sales, and creates demand for a myriad of goods and services. Marriott's Griffin Gate Provides Wonderful Setting

Even though the membership at Hunting Creek Country Club in Prospect has been without their own golf course since a renovation project started last year, that hasn't deterred their love for the game and apparently their talent and skill levels. Head PGA Professional Brad Morrow and three of his women members were the class of the field today and won the 2011 Haas-Jordan Pro-Lady Championship by a comfortable three shot margin.
