Oxmoor Pro-Am Team Takes E-Z-GO Championship
Edges Out Host Team by Two Shots
The scores were looking pretty good at the 2012 E-Z-GO Pro-Am and every team was in the mix until a late rally highlighted the prestigious tournament and a team from Oxmoor Country Club proved to be the class of the field. Led by PGA General Manager Richard Schmitt, the pro-am team posted a very impressive 14 under par for the two ball format.

Inside Kentucky Golf Has a New TV Home
Popular Television Series Will Now Air on WLKY Channel 32
To kick off its 26th season, Inside Kentucky Golf has moved to a new time and station. The popular television series will now air on WLKY Channel 32 on Sundays prior to final round coverage of CBS Sports Golf broadcasts. This half-hour program airs weekly for 17 weeks beginning May 6, 2012 and concluding August 26, 2012.

Harmony Landing Tough Test for Early Season Championship
Harmony Landing Country Club has gone through several months of renovation to the golf course and by all accounts the place may be as tough as they come with slick greens and even heavier and thicker rough than before. But, a few teams were up to the test along with Keith Ohr, PGA Head Professional at Wildwood Country Club, and his team pulled away from the field for a 2 shot win.

Big Spring Big Winner At Scramble
15 Under Outdistances Competitors by 4 Shots
After a few years away from the calendar, the KPGA re-started a tournament that has long been a favorite among the golfers in Kentucky. The Cleveland Golf Pro-Am Scramble was a hit, even with winds blowing at gale force at times. The layoff apparently didn't effect the winning team from Big Spring Country Club as they conquered the course with a 15 under par 57.

Golf Science Workshop at Cardinal Club
PGA Professionals Mike Finney, Jon Hardesty and Brian Manzella have done a tremendous amount of research on the science of the golf swing. They are offering a seminar at the Cardinal Club on April 9th from 9:00 to 12:00 Noon at the Musselman Center.
